Keep the kids busy exploring our 5,500 square foot STEM Center. Birthday parties at The Playroom feature the first 1.5 hours of free play in The Playroom followed by half an hour in the private party room. 

All parties include decoration and food set up, serving, and clean up at the end. Why do the work at your house when we can do it for you at The Playroom?

Each party attendee will receive a discount coupon for a future visit to The Playroom. The birthday child receives a FREE pass for a future visit!

Pricing & Availability

General Parties: Hosted during our open hours. This is a cheaper option then the Private Party, but there may be people from the general public visiting the facility during your party time. This 2 hour party is for 15 children and costs $375 (additional children up to 24; $15 each)

Private Parties: Hosted during the hours we are closed to the public and offered on Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays. This option allows the party to have the entire facility to themselves! This 2 hour party includes up to 24 children and unlimited adults for the cost of $450.

Save the Date

A 50% Non-Refundable Deposit is required to secure the party date/time at the time of booking.

Any scheduled parties that are unable to be given due to a weather-related closure or State of Emergency will be made up at the next available date that is agreed upon by both The Playroom and the hosting family.

Set-Up & Clean Up

Our staff will help you set up your food, paper goods, and any decorations that you bring to the facility. You may bring food prepared in your home, pick up take out on your way here, or have a delivery. We work with a local pizza place that will give you a discount for parties at The Playroom; this is only an option and not required. After your party room experience, our staff will take care of all of the clean-up!

Rules & Guidelines

All guests are expected to adhere to The Playroom’s rules while celebrating in our facility. Staff will remind people of the rules and guests will need to comply.

If compliance to the rules is not followed, the staff at The Playroom have the right to cancel the remainder of the party at any time without a refund.

FAQs

A 50% Non-Refundable Deposit is required to secure the party date/time at the time of booking. The remaining 50% balance of the party is due in the form of cash or credit card. Credit cards will be held on file to be charged on the day of the party.

Depending upon availability, we will work with you to reschedule your party time and/or date as needed due to inclement weather or State of Emergency situations. 

If you are opting to reschedule a previously booked party date, there will be a $35 switching fee. If less than 24 hours notice of a cancellation there will be a $50 switching fee. 

The Playroom is open to the public for Drop-In Play during general birthday parties. However, we will waitlist Drop-In admission when we reach a self-imposed child capacity for the safety and enjoyment of all our guests. The party includes half an hour of private use of the party room. During Private Birthday Parties, you will have exclusive use of the facility.

We recommend that host arrives 10 minutes prior to your party start time to unload food and decorations in the party room. Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes prior to your party to avoid a waiting period to enter The Playroom. We ask that your guests show up at the designated start time of the party.
If there is inclement weather the day of your party, please check our website for up-to-date notices for late openings and closings, and alert your guests to do the same. A Playroom staff member will also call you if a late opening or closure affects your party directly.

We require that you limit the number of adults to the number of child party guests, plus an additional five to allow for grandparents and other special people. Private birthday parties do not limit the number of adults.

Children under 1 and 13+ (including adults) do not count toward your paid party guest total.

Additional children can be added for a maximum of 24 total paid party guests (ages 1-12) at an additional fee of $15/child during birthday parties.

No, parents are required to stay and monitor their child throughout the party.
Comfortable clothing. We are a no-shoe facility and everyone entering the Playroom must be wearing socks.
The Playroom staff will do all of the setup, serving, and clean-up at the end of the party!

Absolutely! Our staff work hard to give you the best experience possible and gratefully accept tips.

Rules & Regulations

The conduct of all event participants while in The Playroom shall be the responsibility of the Client.

Client also accepts all responsibility for any injury to person(s) or property, or loss of or damage to the property or theft of personal property during the rental period, or resulting therefrom.

Failure by any individual or group to follow all applicable rules and regulations will be cause for eviction.

The Playroom retains the right to evict objectionable persons from the premises.

Repeated violations may result in denial of future reservation requests.

Client shall release, indemnify, and hold harmless, The Playroom, its agents, officers, or employees from any and all responsibility or liability for any and all damages or injury of any kind or nature whatever to all persons, whether agents or employees of the Client or persons attending the events for which the premises have been leased and to all property damage proximately caused by, incident to resulting from, arising out of occurring in connections with, the use by the Client of the premises.

The provisions of this section shall include any and all losses, damages, injuries, settlements, judgments, decrees, awards, fines, penalties, claims, costs and expenses.

The client will be responsible for any damage to The Playroom’s property and will be charged for any/all damages.

The Playroom assumes no responsibility for the damage or loss of any articles left on The Playroom’s property prior to, during, or following the event.

Any items left behind will be held at The Playroom for pickup for up to two (2) days after the event.

All printed materials, media announcements and other public relations
communications relating to the event is subject to the approval of The Playroom before they are in the final printing or distribution stages.

Client agrees not to bring on to the premises any material, substance, equipment or object which is likely to endanger the life of, or cause bodily injury to any person or property or which is likely to constitute a hazard.

Smoking is prohibited inside The Playroom.

Nicole Sutphin, mom to 4 kiddos, who loves to create, bake and paint in her free time.  She has been working at the Playroom since it’s opening in 2016 as the Birthday Party Lead, Trainer & Face-Painter. She has had a hand in crafting the birthday party experience at the Playroom. She is VERY focused on the family members stress-less experience during their planned party, comfort without anxiety, time for them to experience your child’s party joy and smoothness of their party’s execution. She CAN NOT WAIT to help you with your birthday party!!

Miranda, has been working at the Playroom since 2021.  She enjoys helping our Playroom families have the best experience while here.  She enjoys the challenge of making each party a unique and personalized experience! As a party lead she makes sure your party runs smoothly

As a former events manager in the restaurant industry, Party Lead Sara is ready to help you celebrate your next event at the Playroom! She has an eye for design when setting up your decor and will be with you and your guests throughout the duration of your party to help serve and clean up! 

Sara is a mom of two little Playroom regulars.  She is also our social media manager and helps with the front desk!
